There are always times in my life where my emo-esqueness is at its peaks, and this dear friends would be one of them.
I venture to share thoughts and expressions of my mind and my collections.
To say that I posses a true opinion would be a lie, because I have become a collector.
Views and expressions are no longer individual once they leave your pen or your mouth.
Once entered into the world, they are like most plastic with a half-life that could easily out live even the greatest legends.
All that I will leave behind are my words, and my thoughts.
I can only give to a person the wisdom I have gained through others, experience, and the ability to trust.
Today I was presented with an enforcement of former ideals of which I personally could not articulate.
Saul Alinsky:
"Remember we are talking about revolution, not revelation; you can miss the target by shooting too high as well as too low. First, there are no rules for revolution any more than there are rules for love or rules for happiness, BUT there are rules for radicals who want to change their world; there are certain concepts of action in human politics that operate regardless of the scene or the time. To know these is basic to a pragmatic attack on the system. These rules make the difference between being a realistic radical and being a rhetorical one who uses the tired old words and slogans, call the police "pigs" or "white fascist racist" or "motherfucker" and has to stereotyped himself that other react by saying, "Oh, he's one of those," and then promptly turn off."
This is not original and I am not trying to be different.
I live by Thoreau, and I love through my Jesus.
And I have now met my quota for emo-moments of 2008.
